After some time, I went to my first yoga flow, which was an unexpected somatic experience. What's even more surprising is how I could detect the sensations in my body. Within the first 15 minutes of the class, I felt a surge of emotion, happiness, and excitement as I realised I was there, especially since the class began with a beautiful meditation. Shortly after, my body entered a profound subconscious experience. I recognised this and made space. I remembered my love and respect for this incredible practice.

Through trust and faith, I allowed. Yoga teaches us that we’re trying to avoid something when we rush. The practice translates this into witnessing the emotions and physical symptoms that live beneath the surface. While the practice unveiled pent-up energy, I left feeling cultivated in deep, deep rest.
